Galvanized Ladder Wire
Powers Steel, Inc. does certify that our Galvanized Ladder Type Material is manufactured from 9-Gauge Side Rods and Cross Rods, conforming to ASTM A641, Mill Galvanized with properly deformed Side Rods to provide maximum mortar bond. Longitudinal wires are two inches plus or minus one-eighth less than normal width of the unit wall. Cross rods are butt welded at 16 inches on center to increase bond strength. Ladder Type is fabricated and furnished in ten (10) feet lengths.
Hot Dipped Ladder Wire
Power Steel, Inc., does hereby Certify that our standard Ladder Type wall reinforcing is fabricated with #9 gauge (.1483) deformed longitudinal wires and 9 gauge (.1483) cross wires, per ASTM-A82, that contact the longitudinal wire and welded at 16" on center. It's width is 2" less than the nominal width of the masonry wall, and is furnished in 10'-0" flat sections. The finish to be hot dip galvanized, per ASTM-A153-Class B2.
Brite Ladder Wire
Standard weight ladder type material is manufactured from 9 gauge side rods and cross rods with properly deformed side rods to provide maximum mortar bond. Longitudinal wires are two inches plus or minus one-eighth inch less than normal width of the unit or wall. The distance between contacts of the cross wires in ladder design is 15 inches. Ladder type is fabricated and furnished in ten (10) feet lengths. Meets ASTM spec A-82.
