Note: Your parts list may vary depending on the specific unit size and kit you’re building.

  • Check your parts list and verify you received all the parts and materials that make up your kit.
    • Written instructions
    • Part #1: Corner pieces
    • Part #2: Left and right wall panels
    • Part #3: Beams
    • Part #4: Front and back wall panels

    • Part #7: Eaves
    • Part #8: Beam endcaps
  • Accessories included are:
    • EA expansion anchors
    • STB self-tapping bolts with nuts
    • STS self-tapping screws
  • Tools Required:
    • Gloves & safety glasses
    • Tape measure
    • Carpenter’s square
    • Chalk snap line
    • Level
    • Handheld sledge hammer
    • 8-12 locking c-clamps with swivel pads
    • At least two 12 foot step ladders
    • Hammer drill with ½” masonry bit
    • Handheld impact driver
    • Form of lift device for beam
  • Set foundation of structure
    • Level concrete foundation according to the plans
  • Step 1: Corner piece installation
    • Snap chalk line of perimeter according to the plans
    • Ensure corners are square
    • Determine front of structure
    • Locate corner piece and place squarely at left front corner
    • Locate pre-punched holes in the channel track and use hammer drill with ½” bit to drill holes into the foundation for the anchors
    • Insert expansion anchors through holes in channel track and drive them into the foundation with the sledge hammer
    • Double check that the corner piece is still square
    • Tighten expansion anchors, but don’t crank them too tight just yet. Loosen slightly so you have some wiggle room for adjustment later.
  • Step 2: Left side wall panel installation
    • Find wall panel (part #2)
    • Position next to corner piece on the side of the building, not front
    • Clamp in place with locking c-clamps
    • Secure wall panel to corner piece using self-tapping bolts (STB)
    • Locate holes in channel track and drill holes into foundation
    • Drive expansion anchors into place
    • Tighten, then back off just a bit
    • Continue to build outside wall with additional wall panels following the above steps
    • Install left/rear corner piece
    • Check alignment on corner pieces and wall panels
    • Tighten all foundation anchors
  • Step 3: Beam Installation
    • Each beam exceeds 700 lbs., so make sure you have a method to safely lift the beam
    • Review plans for exact beam placement
    • Beam sits on top of column built into your wall panel
    • End beams should sit flush with your outside edges of your left and right walls
    • Carefully lift beam and place on top of column
    • Center the beam so there is equal overhang on the front and back of structure and sits flush with the wall’s exterior
    • Attach beam to top of wall using self-tapping screws (STS)
  • Step 4: Front and back wall installation
    • You will install front and back wall at the same time during this step
    • Keep checking your plans for window and door placement
    • Grap wall panel (part #4) and attach it to the front left corner piece using self-tapping bolts (STB)
    • Repeat this step for the back wall panel
    • Drill holes for expansion anchors and drop-in expansion anchors without overtightening
    • Confirm both panels are square and all expansion anchors
    • Continue to add panels in front/back pairs
    • Set beams in position and fasten in place. Beam spacing can vary depending on model. Refer to plans and make sure each wall panel is in the correct position. Be sure that each beam is located directly above a column that was built into the wall panel.
  • Step 5: Right side wall panel and final beam assembly
    • Locate and install corner pieces at the right front and right rear corners
    • Follow same method from Step 1
    • Find wall panel (part #2) and attach it to the right rear corner piece
    • Finish side wall assembly
    • Place final beam on top of wall and fasten like you did in Step 3
  • Step 6: Roof panel installation
    • These panels attach to the beams, not the walls
    • Find center of the beam and measure 16 inches out on both sides
    • Snap chalk lines across the entire structure
    • Make sure roof panels are square, this line is just a guide
    • Place first roof panel (Part #5)
    • Line it up to the center and check that the panel is square to the structure
    • Fasten panel to beam
    • Place next roof panel on the opposite side of the beam making sure it is parallel to the first one and screw it into place
    • Use C-clamps to hold the sides of the roof panels together and fasten using self-tapping bolts (STB)
    • Repeat steps to finish roof while insuring you keep everything square
  • Step 7: Roof endcap, eaves and beam endcap installation
    • Attached roof panel endcap (Part #6) to the roof panels using self-tapping screws (STS)
    • Attach eaves (Part #7) to close space between the wall and roof using self-tapping screws (STS)
    • Attache beam endcaps (Part #8) and fasten using self-tapping screws
